The battle for the court has been joined! Following yesterday's agile Spider Update, the other side has made its terrifying debut. The Symbiote Update is now live in Basketball Zero, bringing a monstrously aggressive new playstyle, the long-awaited Zones feature, and a ton of new content and fixes!

RAHHHHH! The New Symbiote Style
Where the Spider Style was about agility and tricks, the Symbiote Style is all about raw power, aggression, and overwhelming your opponents.
On-the-Ball Abilities
Tendril Dribble: Launch a tendril to grab an opponent's leg, then use them as a pivot to dribble around them while gaining a speed boost!
Tendril Evade: If an opponent attempts a steal, your tendrils will automatically pull you in the opposite direction to evade them.
Off-the-Ball Abilities
Tendril Snatch: Fire a tendril to grab the ball directly from an opponent's hands or even out of the air after a shot, instantly transitioning into a dribble.
Tendril Pull: Anchor your tendrils into the court to slingshot yourself forward with incredible speed.
Awakened Symbiote Abilities
When awakened, the Symbiote becomes a true monster on the court.
Passive Buffs: You will passively gain increased dunk range and a speed boost!
RAHHHH: Unleash your full power to perform a devastating dunk directly on an opponent.
Tendril Swing: Grab onto an enemy's body and pull yourself towards them. The developers note this is a great way to "jumpscare a distracted opponent"!
Parasite (On the ball): Stun a targeted enemy player, leaving them vulnerable.
ZONES Are Finally Here!
As promised, Zones have been released for both new styles! Step into your designated area on the court to receive powerful, temporary buffs.
SENSES (Spider's Zone):
Faster general movement speed
Faster shooting speed
An extra dribble
DARKNESS (Symbiote's Zone):
Faster movement speed only when you have the ball
Increased dunk range
An extra dribble
Pick a Side... Again! And New Features!
The Competition is Back: The "Pick a Side" event for the Spider vs. Symbiote competition is available again! This time, there are no side restrictions, so you are free to join whichever team you want.
Spin Bursting: Have a ton of regular spins saved up? A new "Spin Bursting" feature lets you purchase a 10-second boost that dramatically increases your spin odds and lets you use them as fast as you can click!
Sales, Cosmetics, and Fixes
New Cosmetics: Unleash your inner monster with the Symbiote goal effect, The Dance cutscene emote, and the Tentacles cosmetic.
