Unleash the New Spider Style
This new style is all about agility, clever tricks, and teamwork. Get ready to outmaneuver your opponents in completely new ways.
On-the-Ball Abilities
Roll Away: Execute two powerful dashes to create space. But be careful—the ball can be stolen, so time your moves wisely! If you use it inside the 2-point line, you have a chance to perform a quick layup.
Say Hi: Use a ragdolled player to launch yourself forward for a speed boost. If an opponent is in your path, you'll throw the ragdoll right into them to knock them out!
Off-the-Ball Abilities
Shot Sense: See a loose ball flying through the air? This ability lets you instantly snag it with a web.
Teamwork: Web up a nearby teammate and lob them directly towards the ball. If an opponent has the ball, your teammate will attempt to steal it from them!
Awakened Spider Abilities
When you're in the zone, the Spider Style becomes even more potent with these game-changing awakened moves.
Catch: If a shot is heading towards your hoop, you'll automatically grab it with a web. You'll then use the combined power of your teammates to launch a powerful counter-attack towards the enemy's hoop!
Senses: For a short period, your senses will take over! You will automatically dribble to evade opponents and intercept any nearby passes or shots.
Important: ZONES Arrive Tomorrow!
Get ready for even more content! The developers have confirmed that Zones for both the Spider and Symbiote styles will be released tomorrow, Saturday, August 23rd. Their advice to the community is to save your spins so you're ready when the new feature drops!
Rebalances, Fixes, and Quality of Life
This update also includes some key tuning and a huge list of fixes.
Rebalances
Ordinary Shot (Psychic Style) has been nerfed slightly.
777 now gives you five dribbles when you hit the jackpot.
Major Fixes & QOL
A huge number of bugs have been squashed in this update to improve the game experience.
The cutscene system has been fully updated.
Exploits like the infinite zone via lagswitching have been patched.
Unblockable passes can no longer be blocked by abilities.
Major fixes have been implemented for Phantom Move, Cyber's Discharge teleports, Rubberman's awakening, and the Beast goal effect.
Finally, the arena commentators have been fixed!
